Saddened by Bob's passing. He was, and still is, my Uncle. I didn't know him as well as I should have. I didn't spend much time with him. I knew of him, and while those are great memories, I think he was better than those memories.
I know he loved cars, as I tend to do. I always wanted to have a Bob rebuilt, or retooled car. Not sure why. Maybe I just knew it would be a great car, full of love and hard work, and memories. A split window Corvette I remember. It was red. That was my vision of Bob and cars. That and Buicks, at Indianapolis.
For whatever reason, he always reminded me of Conway Twitty, one of my favorite singers. Maybe because I always believed he had a Desperado Love for Joannie. I have a picture from about 5.5 years ago, or him with his sister, my mother. He is wearing jeans, but unlike the singer, they are not tight fitting jeans.
I will always have a memory of Bob, and miss him. I wish his family the best, I know they will move on, and I will visit them. We have a lot of Bob to remember, recall, and laugh about. RIP Bob, enjoy your new time with Joannie, and make sure those Ford guys up above have their car choices in check.
