Louis's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Louis here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Stan was a great example of a person that enjoys life. Since we moved across him and Ursula we always witnessed him enjoying gardening, mowing the grass, riding his tractor with his grankids and other daily activities. He always had good topics to talk about. We are grateful for the times we spent together. We will miss those nights by the fire pit enjoying a beer with you.

Grief never ends. . . But, it changes. Brother Louie. .I will always have a special place for you in my heart. You held the torch high, as you battled through this illness. We will miss you and keep fond memories in my heart. There is comfort and peace in knowing you are home with Jesus. And, that’s a good thing❤️

Ursula, my heart goes out to you at this sad time. I have known Louie since 1956. He was a good friend. All four of the Herrmann brothers worked for Louie's Father at one time or another at the camera shop. After 1967 we kind of lost touch, my marriage, college, jobs and stuff but Louie was never forgotten in our memories and the shenanigans we got into were often remembered. God bless you as you mourn for your beloved.

I had the pleasure of knowing Stan personally and professionally for many years. His skills were a great asset in my law firm, but more importantly he was a good and kind friend.

Louis enjoyed being called Stan, I remember him as a youth being called "Bounce". We spent many times together being that he lived in the same neighborhood. I was fortunate to spend time on the phone with him before Christmas. I will always cherish those moments. Goodbye "Bounce", "Stan".

Stan was a beloved friend, scholar and mentor. We spent many hours discussing world issues, politics, sports, and friendly banter. He was always a gentleman, harbored no angst, and was very genuine. His acumen of academics, sports and human nature without spite, were true to his core. He had a smile of mischief but an equal look of sincerity from a heart of gold. I will miss him. I am honored to have spent so much time with this kind soul.
