Lance's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Lance here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I was sad to find out that Lance had died several weeks ago. My family owned cottages on Baseline Rd. in South Haven. The Covey family lived down the road.
Lance and I became friends in childhood that extended into our adult years. Lance was a very caring and kind person. Enjoyed his stories of his dragon boating adventures and other hobbies. My heartfelt condolences to Judy and the Covey family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. When I worked for Lance at Blue Star Glass he taught me a great deal. I remember the boat in the shop. He was a stickler for details. He is missed.

To the Covey family---so sorry to read about Lance. What a good man. He, AB, and Shirley ran a wonderful local business, Blue Star Glass. Lance would meet any challenge with patience and integrity. Old South Haven family businesses are disappearing. The Coveys left their mark. God bless you.

Judy, Bruce, Linda, and families,
Ann and I are so sorry to hear of Lance's passing. My family moved to South Haven from Saugatuck in 1964 and Lance was the first person I met. I worked with him at Windcliff Resort and in the off-season we would drive our old vehicles and motorcycles through the fields, orchard, and riding trails. He had a quiet way about him and would do anything for anyone. He was a good friend and will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Lance was a classmate from grade school through 1966 high school graduation. I remember him as a quiet boy, with a smile for everyone. Sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
