Gussie and my sister Pat were good friends. They often reminded me of a modern day Thelma and Louise (good trouble) but neither possessed a driver’s license. They were quite humorous together and Gussie was always a joy to be around. Gussie was a sweet and caring person. She was also a sister in Christ at Family Gospel Chapel in Bangor. She had a beautiful voice and would lead a favorite “Christ Is All” when our choir was active. Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this sad time. ❤️🙏🏽

Was a Caregiver for Gussie for a short time. We watched Westerns, took her to Dr appointments had long conversations. She loved to talk about her family and her crafts.

Gussie you were a light to so many !! You truly were a family person an the grandmother to all children at the apartments. Gussie would make sure the Thanksgiving dinners were available to all, the Easter egg hunts she would have for the kids. She truly was a great person an it saddens me. My prayers an condolences to the family. She truly had a huge impact on so many lives. I'll always remember you!!

I was Gussie's caregiver for a while. She was more than a client to me, she was my friend. We'd go for a long drives, talks, and grab a bite to eat at her favorite fast food Burger King place. I will truly will miss her presence in my life. 💧 My condolences to all of her family. She was a Christian and is with our Lord now.❤️
