I was 3 years old when my family moved next door to the Snyders. Cheryl & Judy were 4 & 3, so we grew up playing together all the time & I was over at their house a lot. I remember Gladys very well. I especially remember her beautiful flowers & how she included me a lot in the girls' activities. I remember her setting up a tea party for us with Kool-Aid & treats. She would set up tents of sheets & blankets over the clothesline for us to play in. When I was about 5 or 6, we all dressed up & she took us to see Cinderella at the theater. She included me in trips to her parents' farm & introduced me to the flavors of cucumbers & blueberries. When I was in 2nd grade, she sewed my first ballerina costume. Many more happy memories...too numerous to mention. My heartfelt sympathy to Cheryl & Judy & the family.
