I first met Edy in 1978 when she married my uncle, Ed Jakubs. They lived in the house that I grew up in. She brought him many years of happiness. Pat and I always made it a point to visit Edy when we were in South Haven. She is the last from that generation on my mother’s side I last saw her on May 31st. She will be greatly missed. She will be greatly missed by Pat and I.

I will always remember and Edie as the fun aunt, always up for a game or outdoor adventure. She was the most generous person with her unconditional love and kindness to everyone who knew her. I will cherish my last visit with her as we took a long drive around the country side and reminisced about her childhood and the love of her life, Ed. God love you and keep you my dear aunt, love you forever Cris

I knew Edie (and Ed) through my parents, John and Rita Callaghan. Edie and Ed were their very good friends. I also knew Edie through the Scott Club. What a wonderful person! She will be sadly missed.

To the Family, So very sad to hear of your loss. Edie always had an effervescence and a grand sense of humor. I enjoyed seeing her occasionally at Senior lunches these last few years.

Edie's permanent smile and the itch to have just a bit of trouble and fun only matches her classiness to always have the right thing to bring to the right event. She will always be a part of who I was and who I will be.
