Peggy-Our family was so saddened to hear of Daves passing. We have so many memories of fellowship at Hoppers, and you and Dave are forever part of those memories. Dave always made us feel special coming out to the table and tapping on the table, asking how our breakfast was, and saying "I knew you were here when the order came in for one banana nut pancake!" He had a way of connecting with customers that made us feel like we were a part of the Hopper family. We pray for strength and comfort for you and your family.

We have known Dave for many years, whether on the baseball field or golf course. We just recently discovered in the past few years that he made the world's BEST pancakes as Hoppers became a weekly event for the excellent food and friendly service. We will remain steadfast supporters but it won't be the same without him checking on how we liked everything. Our condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathies to Peggy and the rest of his family. Dave's warmth, kindness, great cooking and corny jokes will all be missed. His passing leaves a big hole in many lives.

We have known Dave for 22 years through his restaurant and he was a kind, warm, caring and endearing person. He was always dedicated to his work, his family, and to his sports, especially golf. He enjoyed discussing football games and golf tournaments about players that we both favored. He was a great cook and made his customers feel welcomed each time they visited his restaurant. His character and friendly personality personified who he was. We will miss you Dave. May God carry you into heaven.

My heart and prayers go out to his family. I'll never forget working with Dave. We use to laugh at the silliest things. We often took our breaks outside and talked a lot about life. I will miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend 🙏

My heartfelt best wishes goes out to Dave's family. Having seen him at Hoppers, I feel I knew Dave well. His sincere goodwill he displayed was unmistakably easy to see and feel. Such a good guy I enjoyed talking to at any time. I truly feel the community has lost a very good man. God bless his family.
