Rick has been my "bud" since first grade at Maple Grove School. We sat and ate our lunches together and defended each other every day. Chuck & I have grown to love Alta and the kids (who grew up with my kids in South Haven Schools.) God has gained an angel by his side and a determined person who never gave up despite his polio! Rick was a classmate of mine in high school and was always a friend, though I moved away from the area many years ago. I last saw Rick at a class reunion a couple of years ago and he still had the same friendly smile. I am sorry he left us so early. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
