Fred is a good friend, a kind soul, and a caring Union man. I worked with him at the Southwestern Michigan Labor Council for many years. He was full of ideas and Fred could be counted on for any help when it was needed. My sincere condolences to the family.

Dear Cory and Lyndsay, My heart aches for you both knowing that you won't be able to share your bright futures with your Dad. I lost my Dad the same way but he was a young 63. My boys never got to know him but I speak of him often to keep his memory alive and share him that way with the boys. It is so hard to lose a parent - a very difficult chapter in your young lives. You were friends of Clark and he loved and admired you.I know if he were here he would be giving you big hugs. This journey has been long and difficult watching your Dad go through cancer. May you look to a happier future now and begin to smile. I was not able to be at the funeral but look forward to seeing you and share a Clarky hug. With Love, Peggy

Fred will be very much missed by very many people. He was the type of person that always had the time to help out somebody in need. In the time that I have known Fred, he tought me many things. Caring and compassion for fellow human beings were examples that come to mind. Fred always had the time to help out, more of us should follow the leadership example that he showed all of us.
