My Grandfather, Paul Allen Cooper, was a very good example of the Christian Man living a Christian life. His generation has seen so many changes in the world as we know it, and the tenure of his life has taken many turns as well. Although, he was not a perfect man, he received perfect Grace from God and we all know that he is present with the Lord as we mourn our earthly loss. His life speaks to me in several different ways: First- His commitment to God. He was a man who studied the Word and tried to the best of his ability to abide by it. Second – His unwavering commitment to his wife of almost 68 years. Nothing more needs to be said concerning that. Third - His work ethic. He stayed with the Piano Company for 34 years. Last – His demeanor. When he retired, he wasn’t a rich man by any earthly measure but always had a smile on his face and there was a quiet wisdom and confidence that you could always count on. His sense of humor was always refreshing to my brothers and me. I never lived in the same house with him, or spent weeks on end with him, but the time I did spend with my Grandfather will be cherished by me for whatever years I have left before I go to see him again at the Right Hand of the Father. On behalf of my wife and children, we bid you a fond farewell until we meet in Glory and pick up right where we left off. God Bless you Grandfather Cooper.......

We just want the family to know how much we appreciated the friendship and caring that both Mr. & Mrs. Cooper showed over the years to Stan's dad, Warden Robinson. They were a blessing to our family that will always be treasured. May God bless and keep you during this time. Our prayers are with you.

To the Cooper Family, I grew up next door to Pastor Cooper & Mother Cooper when they lived on Broadway Street in South Haven. The only thing that I can remember is that both of them were very nice mild mannered people. If only the world had many people like them we would be far better off. Pastor Cooper was a man after God's heart...WOW...it was a pleasure to know him...and I'm praying for the family & Mother Cooper. Both my parents went to be with the Lord 8 months apart from each other...so I leave you with these words...enjoy them while you have them and remember the AWESOME times you had with them...now he is in the presence of the Lord God Almighty.
