Dear family and friends: I had the opportunity to work with him in physical therapy. He made me a beautiful wooden tray that I have in my kitchen right now. He was inspiring to know and I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with him. I hardly knew him and I miss him and I am greatly saddened that I won't see him again. Thanks for sharing your Dad and husband with me. Sarah

Marilyn and family, my heart aches at the loss of our wonderful Fred. He was an example of the best man, friend and neighbor I have ever known. When my garage burned down, Fred showed up with hammer and saw and helped us rebuild only asking for a cold drink when it was finished. He and Marilyn have been so supportive in helping my daughter Ashley achieve her dreams. His old Ford tractor was my favorite to work on for many years. I will miss his cheerful smile and his ability to make a hard time seem, not so hard. I loved you Fred and your family through the many stories you shared of them. Fred was one of the first to come and see me after I had my heart attack two years ago, He filled me and my family with encouragement and hope. I do this for him to each of you, my friends, my family, if you need, call. Sincerely, Allan S. Ridley & Family

Dr Fred will be greatly missed by our family. We appreciated every thing he did from letting our children mow his lawns and paint his decks, and for getting appointments for Mike when he needed surgery. We are praying for his dear wife and the family Love Mick and Nancy

I first met Dr. Clement in 1980 as an intern at Bronson Methodist Hospital. It did not take long for me to understand that this was a man to watch, learn and emulate. His medical career and retirement were great examples to me on how to live with vigor, passion and hope. Even though I only saw him once a year since retirement, not a day goes by that I don't think of his example or hear his words of wisdom. He was great mentor for me both in medicine and life. He transitioned through every stage of his life with grace and dignity. We will all miss him, he left his mark on all of us, and I'm sure he will continue to speak to me daily.
