We are just so sad to hear about Jan's passing! Although Tim knew her much longer than I did, I always loved running into her at the Yacht Club and catching up. We love Jan so much. She was always such a breath of fresh air. The times we spent together, especially as kids, was something I always looked forward to. She was one of the sweetest people I even knew and was so glad she and John were part of our lives. I don't know why, but I will always remember her dog Grover with the odd foot that made such an impression to me. As I grew older, I learned to appreciate her in so many ways and will forever keep her smile in my heart. Heaven has indeed accepted a new angel. With love, The Jay Brand family

We send our deepest sympathies to Jan's family members. We have all lost a friend. Jan had the lovely knack to make everyone feel warm and welcomed no matter where she was. Memories of Jan make us smile and we feel so blessed to have known her.
