I was very sorry to learn of Tom's passing. He and Carol contributed much to research on the history of the Buchanan area, and to historic preservation of the area. Tom and I both had British sports cars- he an MGA and I a MGB. My deepest condolences to Carol and the sons.

Tom was several years younger than me, so we only became acquainted through our many SAE get togethers in December each year. Tom's friendliness and good cheer were always there for us, and we miss those events now. A grand fellow who had a wonderful career and many interests that we hope will provide good memories for Carol and the family.

To Carol, Tim and Chris.... As people get older we are not able to travel and do the things we once did. I am unable to make the trip to Buchanan for the viewing and service for Brother Tom, BUT I will certainly watch it and be there in spirit with you. Our friendship goes back 69 years when we met at MSU. As we grew our families and business life, we didn't see each other as often as desired. But I do remember some meetings in OR/WA and at several fraternity gatherings later in life, including our visit to Buchanan a couple years ago. May God Bless all of Tom's family. He was a True Gentleman In all sense go the words. Phi Alpha Brother Tom.
