Sharon's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Sharon here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
My Aunt Sherry was always very kind to me. I used to love going to their house when I was a kid to play with Ray and Jeremy. She made the best, most incredible food. I have worked at some very fine restaurants and none of then could hold a candle to her cooking. Had she been my mother, i would have been obese.
But she was always kind. I cannot remember her once ever getting angry with me.
Our life is but a vapor. Its here and its gone. She will be missed.

We met Sherry and Don in the summer of 2014, when we began camping at Triponds and were immediately welcomed with open arms and made to feel like their extended family over the years... one of my favorite memories was staying in a hotel one February (our campers winter retreat) we were playing Cards Against Humanity for the first time, it's... ahem, quite "colorful", Sherry was not playing but was switching between belly laughs and being completely mortified at the same time...while Don chortled on with that "He-He" we all love!! We will so miss all our laughs Sherry and your baked good and your baked potato crack dip stuff! PS... give us a "sign" if there is Bud Light in heaven!!! Rest easy my dear friend.

Sherry was a special person to us. We first met Don and Sharon(Sherry) to us. When they came to Tri Ponds and stopped in front of our trailer. After a quick 5 minutes I knew they would become good friends. However I didn't believe they would become like family. Let me share some of the good times we spent with Don and Sherry.
Sherry with her Bud Light, the camp fires, 4th of July week, sitting under the tree in the sweat circle as it was known, Don and I talking trash and Sherry saying "Oh Donald" . She was always there to answer baking questions as well as her fabulous treats. She was a wonderful person. She will be missed and summers will not be the same without her. But after all the tears and prayers we know she is in a better place, now in the Lord's care.

Just three short years ago, we were welcomed into your camping circle. We enjoyed many special times with you around the campfire and potlucks. You always had very special treats for us to enjoy. I loved doing crafts with all the ladies and Mark really enjoyed your special chocolates. You always had a special smile and gentle way to greet us. Our hearts are filled with sorrow at losing a dear friend you will always be missed.

Don,
I am saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. Assisting the two of you for the past 17 years has been a joy. Sharon and I have had many conversations over the years and I knew right away she LOVED her family. She was always so full of pride when talking about them all. I will miss seeing her at the bank. Her love for family, baking, card crafting, camping and Alice Cooper were highlights of our conversatios. My thoughts, prayers and hugs go out to all of you. She will be missed greatly.

Aunt Sherry, you will be forever missed! I know you were on the heart transplant list, they would have never been able to find a heart that was as big and beautiful as yours. I was so grateful that you and Don came to visit, we had so much fun. I will cherish all of the family memories, and the best cheesecake I every had! Love you!

Ray and Amanda, We share your grief at Sharon's passing. We only knew her for a little while but in that time she was a delight. Our memories will be of Sharon at the wedding rehearsal dinner and your wedding. She was all smiles as you said your vows. We will always remember her from that weekend. We know how much she loved Ray and how welcoming and supportive she was of adding Amanda to the family. We wish there had been more time to spend with her. Sending our love and support. Please let Don Sr. know that we are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Mom & Dad/Ann & Craig
