I first met Sean when he transferred to our High School, which I believe was our sophomore year. He hit it off with many of us, and fit right in with our group in total ease. Our group of friends grew greatly because Sean was also extremely popular with people from the school he transferred from, so we all mixed and mingled, socializing, and growing up together. We maintained our connection well into our adulthood, meeting for lunch or getting together about once a year until maybe 8-10 years ago, then somehow time got away from us and we hadn’t spoken for a while until I found out he was ill. We communicated several times afterwards, and swapped many great stories and memories along the way. I can say without a doubt he was one of a kind, with super high intelligence, well read, wicked wit and humor, a great smile, easy going demeanor, and mischievous twinkle in his eyes. Once when I was looking for a good book to read he shared with me that The Day of the Jackal was one of his favorites, so I read it and it became one of mine and always makes me think of him. He also had one of the messiest cars I ever ridden in, and that will be part of many memories and love I have for him being him. RIP old buddy, and thank you for the mark you left on my life.
