My sincere condolences to the family and friends that knew and loved Ron Lyness. We spent many years in the PAC at Benton Harbor High School producing great theater. He was kind and caring and he loved the students at BHHS and the community. He was always surrounded by students even when they were not scheduled to work for him. He and his wife were a perfect match and his daughter was his pride and joy. You will be missed but never ever forgotten. Rest well my friend.

I send my deepest condolences to the wife and daughter of Mr. Lyness as well as his remaining family. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lyness while I was student at Benton Harbor High School. I also led under his advising with the Key Club. In all of my interactions with him, Mr. Lyness was generous with his time, patient, and always willing to share his knowledge with the students he led. He was one of the kindest people I knew at the high school and I appreciate the time I was able to serve under his leadership.

I extend my condolences to Mrs. Lyness and Rhiannon. Mr. Lyness was an asset to Benton Harbor High School and the PAC . His expertise and passion that he had for videoing performances,Queen contest, graduations and the care he gave and shared with the students is immeasurable. His mentoring and sponsorship and advisory role to the KeyClub prepared those students to shine wherever they went. His dedication to taking the representatives to the Monday Rotary meetings was a dedication of Love. He is missed. My sympathy to Rhiannon a remarkable BHHS graduate and friend of my Grand daughter Alea. I am proud of you and your accomplishments. My prayer is that God will grant you peace and solace for your grief. Thank you Mr. Lyness for your TIGER spirit. Job well done.

For four years in high school, I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Lyness—a mentor, a guide, and a truly kind soul. He was more than just a my boss in the Performanc Arts Center PAC; he was someone who believed in his students, who encouraged us to strive for more, and who led by example with wisdom and patience. His impact reached far beyond the classroom, shaping lives with his unwavering support and kindness.
Though he is no longer with us, his lessons, his encouragement, and his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched. Rest in peace, Mr. Lyness. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
