I am so sorry about your loss Todd and family. Robin was truly an amazing person. She smart, witty, and very caring. Her family was always first. She will be missed terribly. I am blessed to have known her.

It’s a fortunate life when you get to have Robin as your aunt. Growing up, she had this way of making me feel like I was the only person in the room. She innately knew to get down to my level no matter how little I was. She would listen intently to everything I had to say. And as she was more of a talker, I’m sure that wasn’t always easy. Robin was a second mom to me. I spent a lot of weekends with her when I was young. Even though I don’t remember all the things from when I was little, I remember always feeling safe and loved with her. I do remember when Brandon was born and how she’d let me still stay with her and how I got to treat Brandon, like he was my little baby brother. Even though she had a child of her own at the time, she still made me feel like I was her own too. Only recently, since I have my own two small kids, my rank of importance has gone down Robin. She’d bypass me to greet my small main characters by getting down on their level and making them feel the same way I did growing up. Robin is the fiercest and most loving mama bear to all her kids (biological, nieces/nephews, and those she’s adopted along the way). I am so grateful for all the memories I have with her over the years at the lake, Christmas shopping in Chicago each year, and now seeing her loving and devoted attention coming full circle with my kids.
