Dear Rick’s Family & Friends, We were so to hear of the passing of Ricky. That’s what we called cousin back in the day. I regret not keeping in better touch with the family after I joined the Navy. Of all the services, I chose the Navy, because Ricky told me that was the best of the lot. He may have been kidding at the time, but it did work out that way. For me anyway. I’ll always treasure the family reunions we had in Union Pier. Especially with Aunt Josephine’s cream puffs. The best! Ricky was always fun to be around and obviously very talented. We have lost one of our closest and dearest friends. Rick & Carolyn are almost like brother and sister. We will miss him dearly. Our prayers will flow to you, his family, for quite some time to come. We love you guys. May you rest in peace brother, until we meet again

To Rick's family, I saw Rick at Bob Heit's birthday celebration not long ago. I could tell he was going through some really tough times. He had a positive attitude and still had his sense of humor. Remember all the good times. May he rest in peace.

To all of Rick’s family. I know how much Rick meant to you all. But, there are many others who considered him a good friend. In the 70 years that I knew Rick, he was a permanent fixture in my world. We didn’t see each other often, but when we did, it took us right back to the beginning. I will keep his memory alive!
