Phil & I worked as radio car partners for LASD. He was a quiet guy and came across soft spoken. However, when it was time to bring it up a notch Phil was always right there. We use to deliver Xmas presents to less fortunate families at Christmas time. Our first time in a car he backed into a fence post. I saw a surprising side of Phil that day. I recall our conversations and experiences, you will be sorely missed Phil. My condolences to Sheri and family.

My condolences to Phil’s family and friends. Was in Vietnam with Phil, we were in different squads so I didn’t know him that well. But when the shit hit the fan we were all one. Got to know Phil when our platoon got together at our reunions. This past 2years we’ve lost 4 heroes that I know Phil knew. . Angelo Viterritti, Don Diserens, Bill Lipp and John Mitchlitsch. I know these heroes, including Phil are raising a beer together. Keep Phil in your hearts and he will live forever. RIP my brother. 🙏 Doug Snyder
