Heartfekt condolences to family members. Thank you for the lovely photo. As a court reporter, I found Paul to be bedrock in the system; a solid, steady presence, friendly and helpful. A simple, lasting memory: he advised cherry juice to promote a good night's sleep, and it works to this day! All good blessings be with you. He was a blessing work with.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Paul Jancha. What I remember most about Paul is that he could make me laugh! Hearty, belly laughter! His humor was witty and perfectly timed. I will always think of Paul and smile. We traveled together, shared dining experiences and a passion for Notre Dame Football. His memories go on and on and his love for Diane and his family and friends was unmistakable. My sincere condolences to Diane and the entire Jancha family.

I first met Paul in 1974 when he was admitted to the Berrien county bar by honorable Julian E Hughes. I was judge Hughes court clerk. I saw Paul many times over the years in action in the courtroom. He was an excellent attorney and had great respect for the court system.
After my retirement, I started working part-time as a legal assistant for Paul. I worked for Paul for 20 plus years until he closed his office on June 28, 2024. I got to know his family very well and enjoyed many outings with them. Working for Paul was very different from working for the court. At the court I worked for prosecuting criminals and with Paul I worked with defending criminals. I have to say I learned an awful lot about defense work from Paul and also from his clients. There was never a dull day at his office! We worked hard for our clients but always found time to laugh and enjoy our work. Paul was one of a kind and will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to Diane, Paulie, Monica, William, Gabriel, Caleb and his brother Rick.

Paul was a great man, who I was honored to call my friend. Working at the court, Paul would make an effort to shake my hand and say thanks every chance he got. As a defense attorney, he had the utmost respect for law enforcement. Paul would often make jokes about having our backs, or say that he would be right there in the fight if he got the chance. Paul was always pleasant and I always got the feeling he would do anything for almost anyone. I am truly sorry for the loss to the family and community. He will be missed greatly by all. Remember the good times and cherish the memories made. Prayers.

Diane and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had the distinct pleasure to interact and work with Paul and his wife on many projects and spend fun times together at numerous charitable events.
A fantastic lawyer and excellent businessman, Paul always put community first. He led by example by investing in downtown St. Joseph when others did not, and always said yes when I called in support worthwhile causes.
A true rennnesaince man, he will be missed and I was blessed to have known him.

With heartfelt sympathy to Diane and the Jancha family. I met Paul many years ago when I worked at B. C. Legal Services. He was such a kind, loving lawyer and respected by everyone. You have our heartfelt sympathy during this transitional time. God bless the Jancha family.

Paul gave me my first job out of law school in 1994 And immediately threw me to the wolves. I take great pride that I was up to the task and I look back fondly on those times. Thank you for everything, Paul

I had the pleasure of being on the other side of a number of cases with Paul. He was always courteous to everyone and always a skilled advocate on behalf of his client(s). He always spoke with affection and pride of his family. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. Godsped my friend.
