Dear Ma-Ma-noo-noo, we'll miss you!
I wonder often how the five of us made it to adulthood under your watch. We rode along as you took doorhandles off the side of the car and tore open the corner of the house with the car bumper. You left us little ones in the car while you shopped but forgot to set the parking brake. The Butternut bread man had to save us from rolling down into the street. When driving at night, you had us roll down the car windows and let you know if you were still on the road. When fishing near you, a helmet was always recommended. Every fish, even minnows, were always "keepers" to you. You were always 'heavy handed' and our dogs knew to "assume the position", squinting their eyes and tensing up when you reached down to pat (pound) them on their heads. We 'had' lots of flower beds at our new place up north but, you enjoyed helping with the weeding, even the weeds with bulbs on the bottom of them. Eventually, you called all of the wild animals you saw "fawns", even the coyote pups we came across in the woods, and all birds became Cardinals. Somehow, we made it through our youth and are better adults because of your tutelage.
We'll miss you, Mom!

Margaret was a wonderful attentive aide at the hospital. Debbie, I remember how surprised I was to find that she was your mother! She taught you well! I also remember the pumpkin roll she used to make and bring in to share with co-workers. She was a delight and I'm sure she left many fond memories for all of you. Thinking of you and your family. I just saw this. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. We used to work together at Lee Memorial Hospital. She was a real hoot. Never a dull moment with her. She will be missed. How blessed you were to have her this many years. Gods blessings to your all. Love Rona Laylin Darr

I know that I have not been apart of this wonderful family for that long, but I do remember that Grandma Hutchings was the first person Trent introduced me to. She welcomed me with open arms and lots of love, she was always full of energy and always had a smile on her face. Trent always had great stories about Grandma. She was a wonderful lady who, although I didn't have a lot of time with I enjoyed every second I did have with her. Rest easy Grandma ❤️
