Dearest Jerry, I was extremely sad to hear of your death from the other 'kids' at the Whitcomb. After having to cancel my Yoga classes during Covid, right when I was back to teaching them at the Whitcomb, you were already in the hospital. I will forever miss your shenanigans during class (although I still have your accomplice Tom to contend with :-)! I'm very grateful and proud to have been your yoga instructor and friend. Your memory will love on and you are truly missed. Rest in Peace my friend. You've lived a tremendous life and have touched a lot of souls. Lots of love, Lisa

After my Aunt Karla passed, we would visit Uncle Jerry and the family, it seemed at least once a month. My Uncle Jer was a very friendly guy, like my Dad, and we always loved visiting. He would be so accommodating to our much larger family. He would always say "Hey Mikey, you can go listen to records", my cousin Steve had a great record collection and I remember in the early days he had every Beatles record, we would go in the basement and listen to those and dance around. In later years we enjoyed golfing and it now seems like we didn't get enough chances. Now he and my Dad are on the great golf course in the sky with Arny, Ben and all the greats that have passed.

I loved to visit Jerry and Sue (my cousin) They were always cordial and fun. Jerry attended many Monday Musical Club programs and I enjoyed sitting and talking with him. After Sue's passing I visited him at the Whitcomb Center and spoke with him after the Junior Club meetings. He always seemed to enjoy listening to the student performances. I looked for him at the last Junior Club meeting Oct. 16 and now I know why I didn't see him. Prayers and sympathy for your family,

We became friends with Jerry when we started sitting next to him at church. Our children, Victoria & Emerson, looked forward to sitting next to him each week & visiting him at the Whitcomb. He was kind and I just loved his stories. Victoria & Emerson loved going to show him their Halloween costumes & making cards & gifts for him. We are blessed to have known him and glad to have been able to see him last month. He will be missed.

Mr Warren was such a pleasant, friendly person. Imagine putting up with all of us piano students in the living room for years! In his later years, he was the life of the party at the Whitcomb and I loved running into him walking on the SJ bluff. He always remembered my name or my sister’s, haha.
