Javier's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Javier here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
My freshman year at IU I met a trio of guys from “da region”. They proudly called themselves Chicanos , did not know what that was and it did not matter. Javier, Moose and Sid quickly became good friends with a kid from the “white southside of Indianapolis”
Over the next 4 years Javier became one of my“inner circle” buddies at IU.
Could tell a lot of stories about those 4 years but decorum says no! A great guy and a ton of fun to be around. His imitation of Fred Sanford throwing punches was priceless. But what I liked the best about Javier is that either it was right or wrong and you did not do anything the wrong way nor let anyone else do it the wrong way. RIP good buddy, sorry you had to go so soon.
Hope you are “shooting the bull” right now in heaven.

To the loved ones of Javier Serna,
Although we did not have the privilege of knowing Brother Serna in this system, we sincerely hope to meet him under far better conditions to exist in paradise. (Rev. 21:4) We pray that Jehovah's promises, which we know cannot fail, will support and strengthen each of you until you are reunited with him in the not-too-distant future. (Job 14:14,15; John 5:28,29 (a)).
With all of our love and heartfelt prayers,
The Guillory Family,
Honolulu, HI
