Janet 's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Janet here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
A long time ago, probably in the 1950βs, the McKamyβs lived on the Lakeshore just south of Wiley Road. Janet had a horse named Flicka, and she would ride the horse north , past Center Street towards our cottage. We would all gather to admire and pat Flicka, being very jealous of Janet. Rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Janet's family. I consider it a privilege to have known Janet these past 7 years, and looked forward to her daily visits, sharing treats and sweets and chats. She reminded me a great deal of my sister Claudia, who also had a wry humor and quick wit. My very favorite Janet memory: ...one beautiful sunny day, Janet was sitting in front of Mr. Miller's. Her face lit up as she said "Linda, I bought you a donut!" I smiled. "...but I ate it!" π Rest peacefully, Janet. β€οΈ
