I got introduced to Bible Quizzing in the middle 70's when our family moved to Bridgman . Quizzing was new to my family and challenging. I loved attending Bible Quizzing at Don and Ibba's recreational room in Benton Harbor. The monthly CYM rallies at Bridgman Highschool were so rewarding. The last CYM in 1987, I played "No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus" on my trumpet. I was so honored that Don let me play. Don was diagnosed with brain cancer after that. Since then, Ibba faithfully kept the ministry going. I know God said to them "Well done my faithful servants"!

In 2013, I began research on the book THE WINDOWS OF KANLEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL some 50+ years after the chapel was completed and while many of the artists who contributed to the National Treasure, as some reviewers tagged it, were no longer with us, I learned that the person who created the exquisite mosaic was none other than Ibba Glaske, she was still alive AND she lived in my hometown only a few miles from our farm. I called on her during my next visit to the Twin Cities and we quickly became the best of friends, She was a joy, always positive and always working on this or that art project. She will be missed but the sadness that creates is softend by the fact that our paths did cross. RIP dear lady.
