I met Herb many years ago when he was with NBS. With us being a golf vendor- we had lots of visits from him in our booth checking out the latest and greatest golf items. He and my Dad had some great conversations about this crazy game of golf. I will remember Herb fondly, and send heartfelt condolences to his family. Donna Bach-Storbeck / Cam Golf Inc

My earliest memory of Aboo was him coming over to our house. I was playing in the backyard and could hear his mustang pull up. We have matching orange cat stuffies (“Ditty”) and he put his up over the wooden fence and had it talk to me before coming through the gate. Ditty sits on my bedside table now, and has in every place I’ve lived. I’ll miss the silly voice he would use when he voiced the Ditties.

So unexpected, this loss is difficult to fathom. Less than four months ago, I was a guest at the Ft Worth home and marveled at his business acumen. This is such a staggering loss of a good man - for Bessanne a husband. to his children a father and a grandfather. What I appreciate so much about Herb was his care and concern for a mutual friend’s son. Not many men would take time and thought to help another yet Herb did so readily and with love and generosity. For his family, please accept my deepest condolences and know that I share in your sorrow.
