No words seem appropriate for such a loss. Gwen touched so many with her positive spirit! I was fortunate to know Gwen through Jazzercise. We all smiled when she walked into class! Sending sympathy Diane Belden

Gone too soon! A gift to so many people and especially me. My Stem Cell buddy, confidant, cheerleader, friend who was so positive. She made me a better person. Thank you Gwen for being you and being a light to so many ! ❤️❤️❤️

We are all better off for knowing Gwen. I have so many memories of THE WEDDING, unwinding on the "Idler," and laughing at life. Here's to appreciating these little, yet highly significant moments that bring us together. My best to Gwen's family and friends - I appreciate the time we had together.

To the family of Gwen DeBruyn. I have wonderful memories of working with Gwen in the early years of Bayberry Cottage we had some really good times together. She left this world much too young. But because of her she left it a better place. My heartfelt sympathy goes to her daughters and to Jay. God Bless all of you.

Gwen was a very special person - the kind of which I’d may meet once in a lifetime if you’re lucky. She was loving, kind and had a great sense of humour and fun. She and Jay welcomed me into the family and I will be forever grateful for that. She leaves a massive hole. She helped me in so many ways she may not know about- though I expect she did. She also welcomed me and my future wife in South Haven and made us feel at home. I enjoyed working for her and Jay. We loved having over here in London. The best sister one can ask for. Gone too soon but forever in our hearts 💕

Gwen was the most thoughtful funny and caring person, and along with Jay and the entire family, was the most compassionate and loving person to me and my family. She welcomed in my older brother Gavin, and made him feel like he was a member of her family. He clearly loved her and all of the family and she did the same for me when I followed Gavin out to Michigan on an adventure of my own. When Gavin passed away in a tragic car accident the following year, she and Jay stepped up and took me into the family and their home when I decided I couldn’t go home that summer but instead wanted to stay in South Haven. She was a mentor, a dear friend and my big sister. I know how devastated you must all feel, and no words can come close to touching your deep sadness. Gwen, you will always have a deep and lifelong place in my heart and I’m heart broken to not have seen you one last time before you left. X

What a wonderful picture you chose - it shows Gwen in all her radiant glory - always shining, spreading joy, and ready for a laugh. Gwen always made the day better, brighter, and funnier. She will be greatly missed...of course, Amber and Ashley carry that light forward XOXOXO

Ashley, Amber and Jay, I am so sorry for your tremendous loss! Gwen was a beautiful person both inside and out and I will certainly miss her amazing smile! We didn’t know each other long but in that short time we enjoyed spending time together at Singapore Harbor. She made our little community brighter for being a loving neighbor. I know words can’t begin to help ease your pain but if knowing your mom and wife made all our lives better just for being there it might someday help to look upon those wonderful memories and smile. I loved your mom and will never forget her! Love you! Kim
