So sorry to hear about his passing. It has been a while since we last collaborated but he was a wealth of knowledge regarding the family. He will be missed. Rest in peace from old Gros Cap and SI.

I was in the US Navy on board the USS Hancock with George in 1958 and 1959. His wife Lynn was a bridsmaid in Susan and My Marriage and were room mates at MSU during college. We visited George and Lynn at their home a couple times with our motor home but lost touch a few years back. George gave us a tour one time at the Nuclear plant. I attempted to make contact a few years back without success after it was discovered the Bladder cancer I had was a result of jet fuel in the water supply onboard the Hancock to see if he was affected. We are sorry to learn of his passing. Gary Bogart 941 720 3893

I am so sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a good friend to me during the years we worked together at Palisades Nuclear Plant. I first worked in Personnel, but then became the office clerk in Quality Assurance/Quality Control. So technically he was one of my bosses, but we became friends of a like mind. He went so far as to help me move from my first home on Chambers Street to Maple. We had many a cup of coffee together and great conversations before work as we were both early risers. He was always a gentleman. I visited him and his "lovely bride" several times on trips back to South Haven. I treasure the memories. My heart felt sympathies are with you in your time of sorrow. He will be missed. May the Lord bless and keep him.
