My deepest condolences to all of you on Ed's passing. I got to know Ed over the past few years as I would see him either fishing or on his daily walks on the pier. As a member of our "fishing community" I enjoyed his friendship and the many conversations we had. I especially remembered him telling me how much he valued the time fishing with his daughters on their boat. I valued our friendship and smiles and pleasant personality he had. May God give you all a special measure of understanding and peace during this difficult time. Just remember.....God was a fisherman, so I know that Ed is in good company!

So sorry to hear about Ed’s passing and having to miss the service as we now winter in Texas. Such a great guy. Always enjoyed his stories and sense of humor. We always looked forward to the Bomke family reunions and spending time catching up with Ed and Eleanor. Our prayers go out to the family.

Dear Aunt Eleanor, Barb and Cindy (and everyone else in the family),
I was so sad to hear Uncle Ed passed away. I have such wonderful memories of him! David adored him and the hunting trips with the uncles was one of his favorite things to do. I have so many photos of the guys at hunting camp. They truly embodied family and love for each other (even when they harassed each other in good fun). I enjoyed our family visits to Ed and Eleanor's home and my kids remember it fondly as well. You are in my prayers and I wish you much peace and many smiles as you remember his wonderful life. I was planning to attend tomorrow, but the snow forecast across the state makes it impossible. I love you all and miss you. Love, Lita, Kiersten and Donald
