Growing up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s, I always felt like a member of the Wesaw Family. They were a joyous family who loved life! Dorothy was the cornerstone of laughter and energy in the family. We had many great memories at the American Indian Center and as members of the Canoe Club. Rest In Peace, Dot, as you’ve made a huge impact on many lives.

Dorothy was a true bright spot in the world, someone who made the people around her better simply by existing. I did not know her outside of Bristol, but I can only imagine the joy she brought to everyone. She wil be sorely missed.

I remember her as one of the kindest players with the warmest smile. She was one of the few who could cause even a callous soul like Adria to soften and speak low. Every time I saw her, I couldn't help but smile along with her. I remember how often she would always check in on us after a particularly rough day (in faith). And even outside of Faire, she was still so welcoming and jolly. May her soul fly among the spirits and her smile endure in us all.

Dorothy had great big loving Juju. I am heartbroken I will not walk with her in this world again. She is spirit now and I am grateful to know that such a joyful spirit is out there. May all who loved her find comfort. She will always be my personal Mage champion. 💙
