You were so lucky to have such a wonderful lady as your Mother!
Your mom gave me confidence! She had a great way with teenagers. I continued on with sewing in HS because of her. When I went to college, I went into art, and teaching it. She taught me to “see” and “think” inside out and backwards, lol. She will always have a special place in my heart and memory.

Our condolences to the Walker family. Dee and Dorothy were such good neighbors. They were wonderful people! Our son Jerry, spent a lot of time at their house. Dee got him in trouble and Dorothy cleaned him up.

I too had Dorothy for sewing although it didn’t help me that she was a patient teacher!

Mrs. Walker was my home ec teacher in the 70s. I vividly remember her telling us to slow down our sewing machines or she'd have to give us tickets!!!

We lived right behind Mr. and Mrs. Walker, Vickie and Robert. Not sure if you remember us. So very sorry for the loss of your mom. Your mom was my home ec teacher. She was the best teacher and neighbor. I’m so very sorry for your family’s loss. Sending prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time.
