Dear Ed and family. So sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing, she was a classmate, friend and wonderful asset to the South Haven Community. Sue and I always looked forward to running into both of you at the Allegan Flea Market when we visited South Haven..we will be thinking of you during this difficult time. Carl Olsen.

Kristen ~ Your Mother lived a truly deep and meaningful life in every way. I will always fondly remember my weekends at your house on Monroe Blvd with your family. You are special like your amazing parents! May your sorrow one day be replaced with many happy memories. I’m very sorry and I send my love to you.

Dear Friend, Our friendship will always be valued It’s difficult and shocking knowing we won’t be seeing, talking, meeting: or sharing precious times. Our families have shared many great times and we are left with wonderful memories. You will be truly missed by the DeVinney’s. We are grateful for your leadership, time, Courageousness, your patience, kindness, and loyalty for serving two terms as our South Haven mayor and community leader. We value our friendship with you and Ed, and Kristen and Susan. Breakfast will never be the same. You are the “BEST” Dorothy and we already are missing you. Dennis and Idy, Jason, Laura, and Jonah.

I remember a number of us piling into Dorothy's little green car and driving around the city. We each would contribute whatever money we had for gas. Lots of wonderful memories!

Dear Ed, deeply saddened to learn about Dorothy. I’m still in shock. She was a wonderful friend, very kind, and so knowledgeable about antiques and had beautiful flower gardens. She certainly made my life happier and I loved her infectious laugh. She will be deeply missed💔😓
