My name is Alison Lynne (Fry) Senkevitch and Aunt Lynne was my mother's sister. I have many fond memories of both Uncle George and Aunt Lynne, and I appreciated that both were always so genuinely interested in hearing about how my sister and I were doing. Both Lauren and I were on our high-school swim team and both Lauren and I played in our high school's and college's instrumental groups. We had a few impromptu concerts when we all got together and even played as a clarinet quartet once (Uncle George, myself, Cousin Andy, and Mom). This genuine interest in me and my growing family continued as I grew up and became a mom. I remember sending a few photos of various art projects my kids had done, and Aunt Lynne always had such kind and thoughtful things to say about my fledging artists.

Lynne was a quiet influence on those she touched and those that were touched by her. Her methodical answers to opinions and statements were treasured by me. She and George were fun to be around. When she in a position to decide policy, she did it with great thought. Her family was very important to her. She will be missed.

So sorry to hear this. Thoughts and love go out to the girls. Always enjoyed conversation and watching Lynne walk her beloved dogs. Truly a great pair, George and Lynne. Both will be missed. ❤️

As Lynne's younger sister, I admired her very much and will always remember the funny stories the she told me, as we lay in the darkness of our shared bedroom. I'll remember also some of the naughty things that she instigated, which were so exciting and fun.
Lynne is the reason that I owned a horse, because she bought Rusty, then sold him to me to buy Chips (named after her boyfriend George Cheeseman). Later I bought the magnificent Chips.
I followed her steps by attending MSU, and I'll continue to follow them as well as I can, going forward. But I'll miss her as long as I live.

George you don’t remember me but during our time at PAL your wife was effervescent in her spirit, her will to live life to its fullest, and always your steady companion. I am so sorry she is gone but the life you had together was awesome. God bless you George.
