I'm so sorry for the family and their great loss. Everytime I saw him on his mower he would wave and smile. I have many fond memories with Cindy and Gail from high school, cheerleading with Gail and softball with Cindy (bullet). My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

With heartfelt sympathy on the passing of the Patriarch of the Steele family. May the love, prayers and support of your family and friends bring you comfort during this most difficult time. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27. The Afarian Family, California

I will forever miss my Papa, I thought of him always as a farther figure, who gave encouragement, wisdom, and very sound advice. He also talked about his love for family, always providing easy and clear directions , I always called him when I needed to go somewhere. I will miss his laugh, jokes and good old stories, and jokes.

It has been a honor and a privilege to have known Mr. Steele for the past four years. What a wonderful family he and Joyce have and I just wish I could have four more years to enjoy his stories while sitting on his driveway. Just an incredible man who was loved by his family and all of his friends so deeply. I will miss him and the city of Dowagiac should rename Lowe street into Steele street. He was that special of a human being. Going to miss you my dear friend!!
