Vince, you and Lennae were there for me when I was a child, and I remember how you always complimented her. God knew your heart, and he knew that you were a faithful and just man, so he called you home to be with Him. You are already missed by so many lives that you have touched. You light will continue to shine through your seeds, and your Love will radiate through those that you have touched. Know that GOD called you Home because He has a plan for you. So knowing that God has a purpose for you, brings comfort to those of us that love you. Miss Shirley was standing at the door, with the Lord, waiting on you to knock, and you did. Now she is holding her baby close to her bosom. Continue to Rest in the Arms of our Lord and Saviour.

VInce, "Bubba" as I knew him, was as special a person as any coach, friend and family could ever have. Bubba was always respected by his peers, adored and admired, I am positive, by his family and held in honor in the community he served with pride and dignity . I was personally BLESSED to have had Bubba in my life as a player, assistant coach and a dear, dear friend. Bubba always did everything correctly and honestly. He was a "real" man, large in stature, only to be over shadowed by a huge positive character and deep loyalty evidenced by a beautiful life. He was a leader and an excellent example for all young people. Tearfully and truthfully I say that I loved Bubba, as any man can love another man, or all men should love their sons. Tho time and distance kept us apart, prayerfully we can meet again. Bubba, as you made the world a better place, you will assuredly help make heaven even better. My love and prayers to you Lennae, and to your entire Bowman family. May The Lord give you strength and may He hold you in His loving arms to help guide while you endure your tremendous loss. Most Sincerely, Coach Ozzie Cavazos

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Vince Bowman. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Bowman family. Vince was a beacon in South Haven. His presence was felt through out the community. You could see him on the football field or on the basketball court. He was in a video store giving advice on watchful movies. You could see him in a local grocery store. You could hear him broadcasting Ram football games. Vince had a larger than life personality. His positive attitude was infectious. In many ways having a conversation with Vince was like receiving a gift from heaven. Vince Bowman will truly be missed in the community of South Haven.
