Not to be overly dramatic but this is truly the end of a very special era. They do not make many Preachers like Bishop Cunningham anymore!!! My sincere condolences to my cousins Ricky, Anika, Lavita, Ashante, and LaDante on this tremendous loss. Just know he is at peace and finally reunited with Mother Ann. Stay strong and our prayers are with you guys!!!!

He was a devoted husband, loving father, and gracious uncle. Uncle Fred and my father (Junior) were very close, very dedicated to each other and separated only in death. But even at death, Uncle died almost 7 years to the day as his brother (Junior), and will be buried almost 7 years to the day, as his brother. So cousins, let us now love each other as they loved - fully, completely, and without regrets - because the word of God proclaims; “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope, Jeremiah 29:11". Praying for all branches of the Cunningham Family Tree that it may be well with each of you. Louretta

This is a great lost to our family. Uncle Fred was special to me. He was like a second father. When I did not have a car to go to the prom he allowed me to use his Cadillac. He married me, dedicated my children and my first born grandson. Just losing my father about 18 months ago and now Uncle. He was a man of integrity. Not only did he talk about living a holy life but walked the life that he talked about. God bless his memory.

A person has got to be SOMEBODY when they have touched so many lives! Bishop F.L C, will NEVER be forgotten, he has done TOO much for people for anyone to forget the foundation that he laid. I am a better man because of him, driving him, eating with him, traveling with him, video taping him, spending quality time with him and the list goes on!!! Some of my heart left with him!!! Much love to his family Bro. Scott Williams

CHURCH RESOLUTION OF RESPECT FOR BISHOP FRED L CUNNINGHAM No matter what your trials are, or how big your mountain seems; The Lord is there to see you through; He will go to all extremes. So if your cross seems hard to bear, and you know not what to do; The one who loves you most will be there to see you through. We, the members of Straight Gate Pentecostal Power Church, want the family to know that our hearts are with you. Whereas, the passing of a beloved Bishop is the will of God and there is a human tie that has been broken which has caused a heart-felt pain. We are encouraged and consoled in the words of Jesus who said, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” Therefore Be It Resolved, that we embrace the family with love. We cannot replace Bishop Cunningham but, he will be greatly missed. Be It Further Resolved, to the family that we know your loss is deep and your hurt is great but, there is no hurt that God can not heal. When it is all over, we would like you to remember: In case there’s a time when you just need some cheer In case there’s a problem you would like us to hear In case there’s a favor you would like us to do We’re here if you need us to help see you through. Humbly submitted on this 6th day of May, 2016 Bishop Leroy Lane – Pastor Straight Gate Pentecostal Power Church

To the Cunningham family - Fred Cunningham was a man of God and the people. He was a friend of my father, Bill Decker, as was I a friend to his offspring (Duane and others). May God forever bless his impact and love in South Haven and far beyond. To God be the glory, Dave Decker
