John, Mike and Families,

Mr. Nelson was the finest of Catholic gentleman. He greatly contributed to the Blueberry industry. He had a full life and my condolences to all the Nelson siblings.

To the entire Nelson family,
My deepest sympathies as God has called home a great man. What a full life he lived. Johnny was always full of love and grace to whoever he met. He will be greatly missed here on this earth, but look forward to seeing him again someday in heaven with my grandma, Bea. What a blessing it was to know him. You all will be in my prayers.

John Nelson has been a close friend for, at least, 30 years. I've met for breakfast, usually at McDonalds on Saturday mornings, for over 28 years. He and the others of our group (which keeps getting smaller) have been a great support to keep me on the straight and narrow. I'll miss him immensely. He was a role model. The world just got a little sadder.

I have had the pleasure of knowing John and his wife Rosemary as a parishioner at St.Basil for many years.
During the last year I was blest to have been able to get to know John personally. He was a great example of how to live a life well done.
