I worked with Sandy for 13 years at Palisades. She was a good friend. I admired her work ethic and shelved me in so many situations. I couldn't have lasted as long as I did without her guidance. I am so sorry for her family and friends. She was a good lady.

What a great loss to Sandy's family and friends. She was loved by all I know. I knew and worked with Sandy for 35 years at Palisades. She had a loving heart and a giving soul. It is with deep sadness that we all say goodbye. Sandy was a true and caring friend. I will remember her always.I will always picture her beautiful smile and happy laughter. She traveled to Cheyenne Frontier Days at a time when I could no longer go because of the loss of my husband. She used our tickets and had a great time with her husband Dick. Love to her family.

So sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. She was one of the nicest people at Palisades, always there with a smile and help. I think she was the person that handled my paperwork when I hired in way back in 1977. Excellent person she will be missed. Joe Waskiewicz

Sandy was like family to us. She was always watching out for us at work. She wanted to make sure everybody got paid and didn't come up short on their paychecks. Sandy had a heart of gold. She did so many good things for people and charity. One of her biggest things she did was for the veteran's of this country. She will be missed by many. I know she is well and watching over all of us. I send my deepest sympathy to the family and may God comfort you in this time of need.
God Bless,

No finer lady ever worked at Palisades. I'm proud to say I knew Sandy for over 30 years. Sandy was always there to help in any way possible; and some of us in the operations dept. needed her help quite often.
Palisades is better for Sandy having worked there. She will be missed.

It is with a heavy heart that to know that Mrs. Sandra Kennedy passed away on Thanksgiving Day. Mrs. Kennedy generously gave her of her time and found funding to help supply our CPS Kid’s Closet at Covert Public Schools. She shared my initiative to help meet our students' basic personal care needs and get them back to class in efforts to pursue their college and career ready education. We labored alongside each other and through this joint effort we became friends too.

Dear Sandy and Family,
I've know you from the time you blessed Mr K's life and made him so happy over the years. You had been an active role in all of the kids lives, especially your "step-grandkids". You and Dick made the sometimes treacherous trips back and forth from South Haven to Dyer, IN so many times for birthdays, events and holidays. And I know how much it meant to the kids when you would follow in their dreams of sport, no matter the locations! You also never turned your head to me, and always said Hi, even if others didn't! God Bless you Sandy, and don't forget to make a batch of that famous "Dirt" desert for the Lord...

Words fail to express what Sandy meant to me. Having had the opportunity to work with her during the Palisades acquisition it was so obvious Sandy was more than just a coworker, she was family. Sandy lived her entire life to serve others. I will miss her terribly and forever cherish her memory. Forever she will be the "Queen of Payroll". Love you Sandy, Leslie

I am deeply saddened to learn of the loss of your dear Sandy. I worked at Palisades for nearly 18 years and knew her well. It is hard to imagine Palisades without her. She was one of those true jewels of a person that you were grateful to have crossed paths with in your life. She always spoke so lovingly of her family. Hold tight to your memories and take solace in knowing you have the most beautiful angel watching over you. A very bright light has gone out on this earth...Heaven must be radiant with her glow! Heartfelt sympathy to all family and friends. Sleep in Heavenly peace sweet Sandy.
