Mike, Nick, Cassie and Quinn family: Words can not express my sadness from Lorie's passing. I am truly honored to know that we were more than just beautician and customer - we were friends. She always had a smile for everyone. Mike, Lorie finally found happiness with you by her side. You were her rock when she needed one the most. Nick and Cassie your mom loved you so much and was so very proud of the two of you. Her face would light up every time she talked about the three of you. Know that she will be there, watching, listening, cheering and loving you always. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. She was a great lady and will be missed daily.

Dear Mike, Nick, Cassie, Doug, Sandy and Family,

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Lorie meant so much to each of us and she has truly touched our hearts and a part of her is in each of us and always will be.

God blessed her with her soul mate Michael and we were so happy to see how happy and in love she was!!! I will never forget how beautiful and radiantly happy she looked on her Wedding Day!

Paul and I share that blessing from God as we too our soul mates! Mike and Lorie had so much in common with us and we are feel so blessed to have such loving friends. We will always treasure that friendship.

Lorie was so happy being a mother and loved her children with all her heart... She was so proud of Nick and Cassie and would do anything for them. Her face would light up anytime she talked about them. She was so proud of them!

Lorie was so close to her family and would share so many wonderful times and memories she had with all of them. She felt so blessed to have such a loving and caring family.

She was so excited about the new log home she and Mike were building! She so looked forward to the day that they would move into their new home!

We so enjoyed our hair appointments with Lorie. She always had a smile on her face and she always made us laugh! How she enjoyed life!!!

Lorie was a very loving and caring person. She always had a smile on her face even when times were tough. She cared about each of us and always had a good listening ear. She was always there for us when we needed her.

We will truly miss our dear loving friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

May God wrap his loving arms around you and give you peace. Someday we will all be united in heaven with her. Until then, this is only goodbye for a while our dear sweet Lorie...

My greatest sympathy to all of you. We have truely lost a very special loved one. I have treasured Lorie's friendship since we were in kindergarten together. I remember all the good times we had growing up. Lorie, Cari and I were inseperable growing up. The many special sleepovers, the sporting events, and all the other memories we had at St. Paul's. It was such a special day in my life when I officially became one of the family by marrying her cousin, Dale. Lorie always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. She truely cherished her friends and family. It is too bad there aren't more people in our lives like Lorie. She was so very proud of her children Nick and Cassie. Not to mention how much joy Mike brought into her life. I will deeply miss Lorie and look to the day that I will see her again in heaven. We are all so blessed to have a special angel watching over us. Nick and Cassie know that your mom will always be there watching over you and cheering you on from above. Mike know that Lorie cherished the time she had with you and you made her extremely happy. She will be your special angel in heaven now. Uncle Doug, Aunt Carol, Tony and Buck. Lorie thought the world of her family. Hold onto all the memories you have of her over the years. Know that God has a very important job for her now to watch over the ones she loved the most.

God Bless everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Lorie. She was a very special friend and cousin-in-law. I will miss her dearly and will treasure the memories I have close to my heart.

Dear Doug, Sandy, Mike and family - please know that there are so many people in this community who are hurting with you and praying for you. I did not know Lori, but have known Doug and Sandy most of my life, and Mike and Aundria for many years and know what pain you are going through. Having lost my only son almost exactly one year ago, I can understand what a toll this tragedy will take on your family. Unfortunately, life will never be the same, but if you take help that is offered, if you allow yourselves to grieve with and for each other, and if you keep your faith and support each other, you WILL get through it. Lorie will be dearly missed. Her love of life was written all over her face. I had so many great times with her. We wore out our roller blades together. I will missing seeing her at Nick's games, where she always greeted me with her giant smile, and then we'd catch up on each others lives and families. Nick and Cassie - you sure gave your Mom a lot to be proud of! Lorie found her strength through the love of all of you. I pray this strength will get you through this difficult time. I was so horribly shocked to hear my friend Lorie had been taken. She was so young and beautiful inside and out. She was a wonderful person to be around and always there for friends and family. Lorie cut my hair for the last 10 years and always talked to me of her love for her parents and children. She told me so many stories about them. Her mom was her very best friend. Lorie was so very happy with her new husband Mike and so excited about their new home. Family was always first and formost in her life. I can never explain how much I will miss her. To Carol and family: I am so saddened to hear about Lorie. We grew up together just as my mother and you and your sister Jean did. Lorie and I had stayed friends even after high school and seen each other occasionally when I still lived in South Haven. I remember when she had the pink hair! I loved it! That was Lorie! I remember going through our first pregnancy together and having Nick and Kelsey just seven days apart. She was so proud and excited to be a mom. I will miss her. She was a great person. She will always be fondly remembered.

It is still hard to believe that Lorie is gone. I can still picture her and hear her voice as we had just talked the day before the accident. She was an amazing person, any time I would see her she was always smiling and was so energetic. She was an inspiration to us all and will be greatly missed. Lorie was always such a positive and radiant person - her happiness had a way of brightening up those around her. Her family meant the world to her. I know that words are just minor when it comes to the pain in your hearts. I choose to remember the wonderful, fond memories of Lorie from years ago. Lorie was always the sun on a gloomy day. Her smile would brighten up a room and her eyes absolutely gleaming. I remember watching her on stage during the Miss South Haven pageant years ago thinking how beautiful and poised she was. She ALWAYS carried herself with confidence. I know that both her children just ooze with Lorie's confidence and poise. I can remember the laughs and time spent at the ball fields, and pride she took when watching her kids play baseball, softball, volleyball...Her heart was FULL of her greatest joy, her kids. Please know that I am greatful for being able to have known Lorie for the many years that I have and for the opportunity for her to place a footprint on my heart. I will always have very fond memories of Lorie from school. As everyone has mentioned, she had a smile that you could not resist. Now my son goes to school with her children. I will always have regret that when I found out that we only lived a few houses from each other that I did not make the time to stop and visit as I kept thinking I should. My heart just aches for you and your family. There isn't a day that goes by since Lori's accident that I don't think about your family. Everytime I go to Walmart I expect to see Lori's smiling face and look forward to our short conversations about the secret to weight lose. Lori and I would laugh and look in each others cart and see the 12 pack of Miller light and say what the heck!!!!She was also my backup hairdresser when I couldn't get into Sandy. She was sooo happy being married to Mike and so proud of Nick and Cassie. I just loved chatting with her the times she cut my hair and my daughter Danielles hair. Let me say I am so sorry for the lost of this wonderful person, I did not know her personly but would see her walking daily with such resilience and wish I had the same dedication. She aways loked happy. I also was one of the first at the secene and wish I could have done more. I do know from all I have heard she was a loving wife and great mother and truly loved the Lord. I pray that God be with all of you and helps you through your pain and heartache for it is the ones left behind who suffer.

I was so shocked and saddened when I heard of Lorie's tragic passing. We had some great times in high school and I will never forget all the crazy times we had together as teenagers. I'll always remember her infectious smile that she flashed at a moments notice. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. My thoughts go out to her family through these difficult times. When I see the brightest star in the sky I will always think of Lorie because she was a shining star.

It seems like only yesterday that Lori and i would walk down the highschool hallway arms wrapped around each others necks just smiling and laughing at the stupid little things we would do.

I want the Quinn family to know that no matter what has happened in the past, i have in no way ever lost respect for lori. She was always a true friend and uniqely wonderful person. Even though we had lost touch as we moved on in our lives, losing a friend like lori truly creates a hole in ones heart.

Lorie was a very strong & amazing woman and I am honored to have had her as a cousin, but also a great friend. We have some good memories and I will hold them close to my heart. I am really gonna miss her smile and her wave. I looked for her every time I went to town.

To Lorie's family,
I met Lorie a month ago and only talked to her on one day of her life: at the Blossomtime Run and Walk. We met at the registration table and talked to each other before and after the race. She came in 3rd overall and I saw her cross the finish line and gave her a big hug, as I was right ahead of her, in 2nd. I was so proud of her to get third place on her first race!!! She was really excited and we stood together talking during the awards ceremony. We talked about where we lived, how many and how old our children were and what we did for a living. I also remember her saying that she walked every day! It was because of this conversation that I realized who she was when I was saddened to discover this terrible and sudden accidental death. I just want you to know that your Lorie made a huge impression on me that day. She was so nice and friendly and fun to talk to. I can still see her smiling face after she crossed the finish line. Her suddent death is a reminder to me that we never know when we too will cross that finish line into eternity. I pray that you will feel God's presence and love and comfort through Jesus Christ, during this very, very difficult time.

6/11/07 was truly one of the saddest days in my life and no doubt, in some of your lives as well. My brother Dave was killed in a car accident back in 1972, and our mother wore a hollow look for a long time after that day, which I’d hoped I’d escape. I feel that by celebrating the 35 years we all shared with Lorie will help each of us escape that hollow look. The kind thoughts and words we all shared with each other out to our family home, here at Filbrant’s, at Peace, the cemetery, or where ever during what we all went through, add to the bottom line of how Lorie Quinn touched each of us. All of us have special moments that we enjoyed with her giving us a “personal claim” on a small part of her that will always be priceless. I am proud to have had the privilege of sharing my daughter with you all. Some of you know our family, and some knew only Lorie. But if you knew only Lorie, you knew us all. Lorie personified who our family is. There’s no doubt she did it with more flair than some of the rest of us, but she was who we are. If you come by our family home, honk your horn and wave just like you did when you saw Lorie out walking. I’m sure that when we all drive down Phoenix Road, it will be a long time before we stop looking for her. I’ll be out there walking and I’ll be easy for you to recognize. I’ll be wearing the western hat and the “Lorie’s Dad” shirt. Hope to see you!!

Thank you to each and every one of you who found the courage through your own sorrow and set time aside to help prop me up. There are too many to mention personally but you know who you are. I pray that I’ll never have to stand at your door step and return the favor but in my heart I know that I will. Hug your children and tell them that you love them.

It was two years ago I lost a beautiful relationship with my husband and ever since then I have been trying all possible best to get him back but it hasn't worked out for me.
