My thoughts are with Jerome's family and friends following his passing. Jerome believed the world could be a better place and worked toward that goal in many ways. We shared that belief and although we didn't always agree on how to accomplish the goal his integrity and committment were always of the highest caliber. I will miss Jerome and know that South Haven has lost one of its strongest advocates for fairness and a broad vision of prosperity for all. May his example inspire others to carry on the work he did so devotedly.

My prayers are with the O'Bryant family. Jerome was a thoughtful man and very devoted to his work in his community. It was Jerome who help me understand the importants of community awareness. You will be missed.

Jerome was a good friend and will be greatly missed. I first met him at the Diversity Coalition meetings. He cared so much for others and was always following his ideas and ideals. Jerome actively took action in all the causes he believed in.

Jerome had a wonderfully happy spirit. I worked on serveral committees with him, and he was always upbeat and positive. If things were not going well, he would get a smile on his face and say "Come on, now, we can do it." He worked very hard to bring people together in the community. He also was a wonderful advocate for our area's young people. He will be greatly missed.
