Shelia Shirley Fidelman

Shelia Shirley Fidelman, 84, Owner and President of Fidelman's Resort, South Haven, Mi, passed away quietly at her home following a brief illness.

Shelia was born December 1, 1924 in the town of Canton, Ohio to the late Henrietta & David Coleman. She was united in marriage to Irving Fidelman in Hot Springs AK.
Presiding over Fidelman's Resort for 50 glorious years, Shelia was an accomplished singer, dancer and hostess. Enjoying the thousands of people that spent their summers, seeing 3 generations of guests & their children growing up, Shelia ever enjoyed it all.
Thru-out her illustrious life, Shelia touched the lives of thousands of people. Gracious, generous, Loving and Caring to ALL who were blessed to know her. She truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren & great granddaughter.
Loved immeasurably by her children, many grandchildren, great-granddaughter & friends. A wonderful woman who will be truly missed by all who knew her and loved her.


Shelia is survived by her sons, Barry, Michael and Charles, his wife Bonnie. Her adoring grandchildren, Suzanne, Alexis, William, Joshua, Jasmine, Ben, Anna & Hannah & great-granddaughter Taylor.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

In addition to her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by her son; Allen, her brother Marvin & his wife Vivian Coleman.
Memorial funds have been established in her name for the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, The South Haven Historical Society as well as the Hebrew Congregation of South Haven.

A Memorial Service for Shelia will be scheduled for the summer of 2009.
