Gramie Casselberry, You will be missed by so many. God did not promise us a comfortable journey, but a safe landing. Our hearts will be sad, but not troubled, and we are not afraid,You are safe, in God's care. You are like Autumn, The year's last, lovelist smile. You are like none other, sweet, gentle, and at peace. All our love, Peg Rusin

Gramie, you are so special to all of your family. Some of my best childhood memories are of visiting you and Paw Paw during the summer, for a whole week. What a treat! We love you.

Gramie, We will all miss your smiling face. You were always a lady, soft spoke and gentle with a kind heart. I know you're happy now, sight restored and perfect hearing! I'm glad you're with PawPaw again. I won't forget one our visits a few months ago, you and Grandma sharing some old stories and giving me a little family history lesson and another a few weeks back when Emily kept dusting your feet off with a feather duster and you played right along lifting them up for her. Thanks for being someone to look up to, a wonderful example of a kind hearted woman. Love you! Jodi

The kids will miss giving their Great Gramie a hug and kiss goodnight on their visits to S. Haven. Nick (the dog) will miss the little crusts of toast she'd share from her breakfast each morning. Kevin and I will miss the color commentary she gave on Tiger Woods' putts and the Detroit Tigers relief pitchers. Most of all we'll miss the bright smiles and caring spirit she always shared. We'll miss you, Gramie! Kevin, Marcia, Collin & Claire

To the Casselberry famiy: Ila was such a beautiful lady. Always had a smile on her face. She loved being with all of her friends at River Terrace, and was so so sad when she left. She knew that she needed her loving family around her for more care! We have missed her, but I am so happy that she found comfort in her family and the love they shared. She has been truly missed. Grammie I love you and miss you already. I'll always remember when we used to write letters, I couldn't keep up, you'd reply to my letter the next day. Going to the beach, just you and me, and all the stories that were so clear in your mind, that's how I'll remember you. Love always, bear

Vonnie, Karen and I offer our condolenses to you and the rest of the family. As we talked during recent weeks it was clear Ila wanted to go peacefully to the Lord. Certainly you made that possible with all the love and compassion given during the past several weeks. How lucky she was to have you for a dauhgter. Karen and I will always remeber her smile, twinkling eyes, and positive outlook on life. I am sure by now she has already lit up heaven and made it more enjoyable for everyone. I will always remember her as Ila with the twinkling eyes. God bless you and all your family. Gordon and Karen Wesley

I have so many great memories of "Grammie Mom". Helping her answer phones and pass out checks at the heating company, all night card games at Pettycoat, M&M's setting on the counter, roast beef sandwiches waiting for us after the long ride to Florida, and walking across the Singer Bridge. She taught me how to play cribbage and to always send a reply to a letter or you would not get another one! She had a wonderful life and now will enjoy her new home in heaven with the family and friends who went before her. We will all miss you Grammie. Love, Jodie

The thing I most loved and admired about Grammie was her spunk and whit. She was a gentle, sweet person in this often harsh world--a lady to remember.

We remember taking Grammie to Novi to visit Jean and Hank. She told stories in the car and kept smacking me on the arm and laughing. I don't really remember the stories but will never forget the way they were told. We are going to miss you, especially every time there's a Tiger baseball game on. Say hi to Paw Paw. Love always, Tom, Laura, Crystal, and Harmoni

What I will most miss about Grammie is her giddy laugh, ready smile and many stories. Such a happy personality, and not afraid to speak her mind at times.I remember the evening drives with her and PawPaw to try and spot deer, with the added excitement of the possibility of the ever elusive black bear. I love you Grammie and will never forget you.
