Awwwww, Mrs. Bitt was my first boss ever (Sherman's Flavor House). I have always and WILL always remember her with great fondness. I believe she instilled in me the right work ethic and skills to serve me well in the many years since then. R.I.P.

Your Mom was a such a fun loving and special person. I first met her when I was scooping ice cream at Sherman's Flavor House and feel blessed to have continued the friendship over the years. My prayers surround you in this time of loss.

Such a gracious, caring lady. Nina was a special neighbor to my Mom (Grace Johnston) when they were both in Casco. May God's peace be with you in the days ahead.

Skip and Family, We were sorry to hear about your mom. I have very fond memories of her and our Casco days. I will also pass on my mom's condolences as she will not be able to attend the funeral. Gail and Mark

I have fond memories of Nina. We lived across the street from Eleanor and Pete Harry on 71st Street and saw Bit and Nina a lot. Casco is changing so much. May the Lord be with the family. We knew Nina; she was a very nice and kind lady. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. I first met Mrs. Bitt. when she worked at Sherman's Flavor House. A bunch of us used to go there after school for ice cream, and she was such a wonderful lady! Then I got to know her and Mr. Bitt better after I met Mike in high school. A great lady and a wonderful family. May she Rest In Peace. She will be missed. Elaine Ruell

Mr. and Mrs. Bitt were two of the kindest and caring people that I was fortunate to know during my teen years. I remember them fondly. They took me under their wings years ago and I have always been thankful to have known them. Nina was always cheerful, witty. and gave her best. I loved when she made a fuss over me and made my lunch at Shermans. She was special to me. Caring thoughts are with you all-especially Mike.

Hi Skip, Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. My sister Cindy and I spoke with her at River Ridge at Christmas. My mom was moved there about that time and we were there for a family Christmas celebration. Debbie
