Paul and Mike, I have many fond memories of "sleep overs" at your family home with Diane. Your mother was always very gracious to me. I'm sure she's up in heaven with your dad, Diane and Pam. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families

It was such a pleasure to meet Mrs. Sivacek when I had bought her "family farm" on Blue Star Highway. She would visit several times a year and give my family history of the house and yard... I wish the flowers lining the driveway back then, will have a "special blessing from heaven", and the windmill. I will miss her, she is an angel.

How saddened I was to learn about the passing of Grandma Sivacek. I have so many fond memories of her, especially our visits to her home and my wedding to her lovely daughter, Pam. I have never seen her happier than the day she celebrated our marriage at a wedding reception she gave us in Michigan. I will always remember how she so enjoyed making handmade items for our home and how proud she was to have made our daughter, Katelyn, her first hand sewn dress. The funniest memory I have of Grandma was when Pam, Katelyn and I were taking her on her first cruise ship. We boarded the ship at port in Norfolk, Virginia and spent the night. However, the next morning, we learned that we could not leave port because of a hurricane in Nags Head, North Carolina. Grandma was so excited to be on the cruise ship, she wrote post cards to all of her friends back home even though we never left port. Sorry Grandma! I know there must have been a joyous celebration when she entered Heaven’s gates and reunited with her two beautiful daughters, Pam and Diane. I believe the angels come down from Heaven and take our loved ones there, but God will always send more angels to comfort those that are left behind. I know that God will surround me and my daughter, Katelyn, with lots of angels to help us find comfort in the fond memories we had with Grandma and the knowledge that she is no longer suffering but is in a much better place. Though you cannot always see the bird singing, if you listen with your heart, you can always hear his song. Though Grandma Sivacek has left life as we know it now, in our memory, the love we knew from her will always carry on. May you rest in peace Grandma and have eternal life that you are so deserving of forever.

I am so grateful for knowing you and sharing you as a part-time mom when Pam and I were growing up. I will never forget "Goose Blood Soup!". Heaven could not have a better person than yourself, you will be missed.
