David's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of David here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I was saddened to hear about Dave’s passing. I just saw him in October and he mentioned, on his bucket list, he was going to see me out West, (when retired) at my Visitor Center Biker Bobs in Utah. Got to know him a couple of years ago. When some so called investors were stringing me along on some land I owned in New Buffalo. I stopped at City Hall, and graciously he came out to assist me. Dave was kind ,courteous and professional .He had New Buffalo interest at heart, and treated me with respect and aided me with some decision making .No Bullcrap, just a straight shooter .That day we found out we both love the Southwest as he was an former City manager in ,Pahrump Nevada .I sometimes hang my hat in nearby Overton by Valley of Fire State Park .That was the connection to make us for the last 2 years, forever friends .He truly enjoyed hiking at Valley of Fire SP and the outdoors, while in Nevada. He stated he loved that park as I do, for its amazing beauty. In Life it is not How Long you Live in your Life, but how you Live your Life! Dave enjoyed aiding others by managing City Life Styles be it in: Alaska, Nevada and most recently here in Michigan .He was honest from top to bottom/head to toe, and readily available to aid you. Apparently the Good Lord needed him to manage the Blue Skies above. He is now hiking the heavenly trails in his eternal Life. God Bless him, May he Rest in Peace and my prayers and condolences to Family and Friends.
Sincerely
Biker Bob

Blair,Sarah and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Family meant a lot to Dave as he spoke of his family often. He was very instrumental in a lot of great things that have been done in the City of New Buffalo and we appreciate all of his hard work. We enjoyed our time with him and will think of him often. He will be greatly missed. Continued thoughts and prayers to all of you.
With our deepest sympathy, Mark & Mary Robertson
