Duane's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Duane here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I was very touched by the heartfelt love shared by Duane’s grandchildren on the video of the service. I worked at Avion Coach just out of high school in 1974, when he did a lot of hiring for the GMC motorhome conversions. I remember how he laughed when I told him he really needed to hire some good looking young guys! I recall that he had a kind and fair nature, & don’t know if my request was considered, but I subsequently married one of the guys he hired! My sincere condolences to the family, I will always remember Duane fondly, Karen Schuler Wilson (widow of Gary Wilson, whom he hired!)

One of the earliest memories I have is being with uncle Duane and aunt Betty, riding around in this awesome late 50s or early 60's Thunderbird convertible with the top down, and them goofing around singing along to this song, "For the good times". It was so much fun and such a great song, that when it ended they would play it again and we'd all sing. Something I will always remember.

Tina Lil and I are sorry for your loss. We know that your love for him was a much needed encouragement during his Journey of those sunset years, We often had opportunity to lift all of you up before the Lord on Wednesday nights as we gathered together (Virtually) in Napier Prayer Meeting. We will continue to pray for your family as you grieve Dads departure from your daily life.
Gods richest Blessings. We look forward to seeing you. Jim and Lil Landman

So sorry to hear of Papa Schneider's passing. All the Schneider's were my family while I lived in St. Joe. I spent many good times with all of you. I especially recall how Duane would snooze during services at Presbyterian church, but would instead blame ME, always calling me "Cindy who sleeps in church!" Praying you will be comforted by many happy memories and the love you shared.

I love Uncle Duane so much.
In the past ten years , I have not seen him much but every time , he always greeted me with the same welcome. He always pointed to his cheek. I would kiss his cheek & we would talk.
I will be saying prayers for Uncle Duane. He is so much closer.
