I can only imagine what is is like to have your child taken from you in this manner.
God will give you the strength to comfort you and move on with your life.

There are no words to take away the pain of losing Lukas. May your memories keep him alive in your hearts. May your faith in God give you peace and light during these dark days. Please reach out to the community and our family if there is anything we can do in the days, months or years to come. God bless you and keep you. Kim, John, Emma, Maya, and Madalynn Schmidt

Dear Jeff, Christine & Nathan,
I am so sorry, and heartbroken, to hear of your loss. To see the outreach throughout the St. Joseph & Lakeshore communities, from classmates, friends, families and co-workers, it shows how truly special & loved your son (and brother) is. I wish you peace and comfort while you grieve in knowing that he is now, and forever will be, in the arms of Jesus.

My heart is broken for you Christine, Jeff & Nathan.
I remember the lively young Strain boys as the world was opening up for them. I remember witnessing the laughter, the love & compassion of a very close family.
Lucas always had a twinkle in his eye. I loved his zest for live. God saw his bright light as well, as he called him home earlier than we would of liked. Lucas’s light will shine forever. May you breathe in his light, as you remember your son in the arms of our Lord.💜
Reach out if I can help in anyway.
Love to you all❤️
