Tom's Obituary
Tom Lewis Briggs, 80, of Eau Claire, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024 in St. Joseph, MI. He was born April 25, 1944 in Glendora, MI to Forrest and Agnes (Martin) Briggs.
The family will be celebrating Tom’s life with a memorial service beginning at 4pm, Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Three Oaks Church of Christ, 305 N. Elm St., Three Oaks, MI. Interment will be held privately at Riverside Cemetery, Three Oaks, at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Heritage Chapel, Berrien Springs, 269-471-2700. Tom will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He enjoyed automobiles and loved to visit all the local car shows when he could. He loved spending time with his family, especially when it involved an evening of dining out on the town.
Tom will be missed by his brother, Fred (Nancy) Briggs; his niece, Lynda (Frank) Figuero; his nephews, Jerry (Donna) Briggs, Rick (Sally) Briggs, Howard (Sandy) Jackson, Steve Jackson, and Barry Jackson; and his brother-in-law, Howard Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Gail Briggs Jackson; and his parents.
