Thomas H. Cummings, 81, of Decatur, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024, at his home.
He was born on August 13, 1943, in Decatur, MI, the son of George Sr and Betty (Gillette) Cummings.
Surviving are two children – Valarie (Brian) Mead and Tim Cummings; two grandchildren – Amanda Pentland and Ryan Mead; three great-grandchildren – Allison Pentland, Tyler Pentland and Cooper Mead; three brothers – George (Susan) Cummings, Larry Lathrop and Robert Cummings; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son Thomas Cummings Jr; and three sisters – Catherine Reits, Shirley Fountain and Dianne Yancy.
Honoring Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or service. Arrangements were entrusted to Newell Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes, 83313 M-51, Decatur.
