Terrie Rae (Gardner) Hays, of Bridgman, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 54. She was born on April 28, 1970, in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Barbara (Caraway) and Glen Gardner.
Visitation with Teri’s family will take place on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd.) from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with David Thompson officiating, along with one hour of visitation prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Bridgman, Michigan.

Teri truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive, as her generosity knew no bounds. Teri was a loving mother and grandmother and a beautiful soul whose radiant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed being on the boat, dancing, traveling, spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, and always having her beloved dog, Cabela, by her side.
Although Teri is gone, she will live in many hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, Dave Hays; her children, Courtney Hays, and her fiancé Brian Guerrant, Mykayla Whitman, and her husband, Grant; granddaughters, Ariana and Mariana Guerrant; mother, Barbara Gardner; sister, Tanya Pillow; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends that have become family. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Gardner.
